Technical Disclaimer & Hardware Limitations
ElixerPro.tools provides helpful browser-based device verification tools. Users should understand what web pages can observe versus what requires native operating system access.
What Web Applications Cannot Measure
Browser sandboxing strictly isolates web pages from low-level motherboard hardware for security. As a result, no website can:
- Directly read CPU or GPU silicon temperatures in degrees Celsius.
- Measure cooling fan RPM or alter motherboard PWM curves.
- Inspect physical battery wear cycle counts or factory chemical design capacity.
- Read SMART drive health attributes or detect bad physical NAND flash blocks.
- Measure radio frequency signal strength (dBm) or detect Wi-Fi interference.
Estimations vs Direct Measurements
Tests labeled Tier B (Browser Estimate) calculate approximations from browser timing loops (e.g. frame rates via requestAnimationFrame or network round-trip latency). These numbers represent current session responsiveness and must not be compared directly against dedicated bare-metal laboratory instruments.
Not Medical or Repair Advice
Audio frequency tests are equipment response checks, not medical audiology hearing exams. Always consult certified audiology professionals for hearing assessments and authorized repair technicians for physical hardware repair.
